Where to Find Me
I am working face to face; online or by telephone.
Sessions take place at my home, in a residential area of Teignmouth. The therapy room is located in my garden office and is not accessible for clients with mobility issues. Free on street parking nearby is plentiful or I am a 15 minute walk from the train station or town centre.

I usually respond to messages within 2 working days, and if I have availability will be able to schedule a session within a week of your contact. If you have not received a response within 3 days, please check your junk email folder.
What does a session cost?
I offer a free introductory session (up to 20mins) by phone. In this session you will be able to outline the issues you wish to work on in counselling and I will answer any questions you have about the counselling process. This chat gives us both the opportunity to see how it would feel to work together - you can sense if you feel safe and comfortable with me and I can let you know if I feel able to help you. This session gives us both a chance to see if we’re a good fit, as such the intro chat is entirely without obligation to book a counselling session.
Fee thereafter:
Individual counselling sessions are 50 minutes long and cost £50 per session for face to face; online or telephone counselling.
I offer a limited number of reduced cost sessions for those on low income. Please ask me for availability.
How often will we meet?
Counselling is most effective when committed to on a regular basis – usually weekly. I also work with clients fortnightly if that works better for them. Regular attendance is important in counselling as it gives a certain feeling of structure to the process.
I offer long term therapy, which is a commitment both financially and of your time.
Fees are payable per session by BACS – payment is required 24 hours before a session to secure the appointment time.
What if I need to cancel an appointment?
If I have enough notice of cancellation I may be able to move your appointment to another time that week or we may need to miss a week. An appointment cancelled with less than 24 hours notice or where the client does not attend will be charged the full standard fee.
My working hours
I work in my private practice Monday (12 - 5pm); Tuesday (8am - 5pm) and Wednesday (8am - 5pm).
