Qualified Supervisor (Diploma in Professional Supervision - NCPS Advanced Specialist)
I am an empathetic, human, intuitive and warm supervisor. I am here for both you and your clients. I see my supervisees as colleagues, I am not here to judge you but to be your sounding board and safe space to share whatever is weighing you down or to join with you in celebrating your successes. I have experienced supervision where I felt unsafe and judged and also excellent supervision where we can bounce around ideas and learn in a supported way. I remember how daunting it felt for me moving from just qualifying to being a practicing counsellor.
These experiences have moulded my own learning and led to a determination to offer supervision that you will look forward to, it may be challenging at times, but I hope you leave your sessions feeling lighter and validated.
I am trained in the Seven-eyed supervision model by Ken Rabone at Safe Space for Counselling. This supervision model aims to provide a framework of lenses through which we can focus on specific aspects of your client work.
Our work as counsellors can sometimes feel really heavy and I am here to support you and help lighten the load. If you would like a chat to see how it might feel to work together then please do get in touch via the email link.
I love working in an intuitive way, to connect to your clients and get to know them through you. As a supervisor, I am also happy to offer advice and guidance if that is what you need.
I understand how important it is to find the right supervisor so I offer a free 30min, no obligation online meeting.
Supervision Fees
1.5hrs supervision is £65 (reviewed annually), for both face to face and online sessions.
Trainee counsellors on placement are offered a reduced fee of £55 for 1.5hrs supervision.
I have a limited number of spaces (2) for newly qualified counsellors in private practice (qualified within the last 6 months) which are set at £55 for 1.5hrs for 12 months - then reverting to £65 (or the current standard fee). I am keen to support fellow counsellors grow their private practice in their early career.
